This is life... Everyday I wake up for breakfast, then I do a daily stroll to the park with my grandpa, followed by playing the PS2 of my cousin. After eating lunch, I play the PS all the way till dinner. Then, more playing till 12am, then I watch the World Cup. Relaxed, isn't it?
Everyone here, I hereby declare myself a fan of John Terry (the English and Chelsea defender). 'Cuz he rocks. Anyway, I don't like Chelsea and I hate Mourinho=). You watch the England match against Trinidad & Tobago, that Stern John guy from T&T (TNT =_=''') winning the header and heading into the empty net. It looked certainly to be a goal but Terry, who had tried to head the ball away, made amends by clearing the ball off the line, and he went into the net crosslegged. I can't describe it to you, but it looked really funny. He saved England from certain damnation. Peter Crouch's Robodance is really nice, but it's so bad that he didn't do it hen he hit a header into the net at the 82nd minute to give the opening goal of the game, as well as his first World Cup goal and England's first goal of this competition. T&T conceded their first EVER orld Cup goal after around 180 minutes (Around 95 minutes from the last game against Sweden due to injury time, and 82 minutes plus 3 minutes of injury time during the end of first half.).
I heard something about this Crouch guy, a little child said this about his height,"Peter is so tall that he will have to Crouch to talk to me." Crouch's performance was unconvincing even though he scored once. There as one clear chance for him yet he missed. He was unmarked, at the centre of the penalty area, ot a nice cross from Beckham, the goalkeeper was caught unaware, and he got all the time he needed as there was no defender around. But instead he flopped a first time side volley and the ball went, according to the commentator, "miles away from the goal."
Actually I can't blame him. The whole team as unconvincing, even with Beckham trying to charge them up. Beckham as really doing a good job there, setting examples and defended really well, set up many, and I mean many, great chances, and even shot on target once.
The one unlcky soul of the game was Lampard. He made great shots at the goal, but one of them unluckily hit the post and bounced off. It was only when Eriksson brought in Lennon and Rooney (Yay! Rooney's in!) and changed the formation from 4-4-2 to 3-4-3 then the team looked fired up. Looks like Rooney gave the team a psychological boost.
Now for the second goal. Steven Gerrard is from Liverpool and represents England. Shaka Hislop is fromWest Ham, and represents T&T. Remember, in the FA Cup Final, Gerrard put the ball past Hislop twice, and no he added another to his tally. A fantastic screamer from the edge saw Hislop getting whipped again by Gerrard. No doubt, the fans wee screaming their heads and any other parts of their body off. Shaka Hislop will surely not forget Gerrard for life.
End of one nice match. But there's one prob. I still haven't see Walcott in action!!! Argh. The best match I've seen so far as the Argentina against Ivory Coast one. Ivory Coast native name was Cote de Ivoire. Cool.
