Now's the holidays...
When it was school, we were wishing for hoolidays, now, we are wishing for school...
At least, for me...
The EOTA during Friday was a, excuse me, disaster. The so-called good part lasted for like 5 minutes, and the rest of the trip was just walking. Walking. And more walking. WOW. It seemed like eternity. We would be better off going to the Zoo or the Birdpark (Uh-hem...). Maybe we can go watch some movies. Haha... Fat hope.
Then there was three 'Boom!' after after I cross the bridge. First was the bridge breaking, second was someone falling, third thou shalt not say.=) I think you know who is it.
After EOTA we were supposed to do 'Clean Your Hands' which is a campaign to keep the class clean before the term ends. Actually it should be 'Dirtying Your Hands'. = ='''
And, we received our dreaded results. Dang... MSG of 1.25... both IH and Chinese needed ONE more mark to get A1... What the...
Then on Monday was English lesson... Three hours...
Yesterday was SMO. We were seated next to each other, no alternate seating, so... Something happened, and everyone did all the questions, and all answers were about the same...= ='''
Following that, we went to the McDonald's at NUS and rushed to our school. Liki went into a bookstore to buy some economics book and we left him behind!!!=) Sorry about that! In the end he didn't buy it 'cuz it was out of stock...
We went to an old folks' home in the afternoon to do some CIP. And those who went there learnt one thing: Sec 2 iSparkians are racist. Talk about Service LEARNING.
And I did 80 sit-ups in a minute!!! Wheee.....

We (Muk, Jia Han, Jerome, Tyn Long and I) went to the Asian Civilisation Museum at 1.50pm, and we reached there at 2.30pm. I went to get the last few answers for my worksheets before the NYPS pupils arrived at 2.40pm. It was very chaotic at the start and we struggled to settle things. The receptionists at the counter looked visibly irritated at the commotion. When the things were sorted out, Muk and I, the guides of Group 8, could finally proceed for our own tour. Jia Han wanted to merge with my group as Li Ki was not here yet, and we obliged.
We gave a very brief introduction about the Museum, but the pupils were looking very bored at first, and they were quite rowdy. But when we went into the galleries, they kept quiet and respected the rules of a museum. The South-east Asia Gallery was packed with so many people that I decided a change of plan and I led the group to the West Asian/Islamic Gallery instead, which was adjacent to the SEA Gallery. Muk and I forgotten to introduce ourselves and the people in group 5 was calling Jia Han a “Shortie”. I managed to introduce them to the Islamic culture after much shouting. Fortunately, Li Ki came and we separated. Muk and I then pass down all the worksheets and let them to do as they learn, which I thought was a good way to teach. I gave them information about the Muslim culture, the Arabic language, and the Mosque architecture before proceeding to the next gallery, the Southeast Asia Gallery. They learnt about the Pejang-style drum and then we went to look at the Khmer, an ancient Cambodian tribe, Buddha. The Buddha statue was under the naga, which was a sacred creature in the Khmer Empire. The naga looked very cool!
Then we saw the supposed Buddha’s footprint. It is a bit too big for someone who fasted for so long to attain enlightenment. Hmm… There were the head cutters, the Dayaks, famed for cutting people’s heads off and taking their hair to put on their shield to display their toughness. Also, another tribe was the Nias, a tribe famed for their class system, with many things to distinguish the higher class to the lower class, like the osa osa, a chair for the higher class, and there was a head carving. I wonder how they ate with that big chicken-like head blocking their way.
At the China Gallery, we saw the magnificent dragon robe, and the pupils were listening intently, not because of their interest in the robe, but because there were many questions on the dragon robe. Anyway, I was like the only one who appreciates the robe. Then we introduced them to Taoism, which was actually a philosophy on immortality instead of a religion, but over time, it changed.
Lastly, we arrived at the South Asia Gallery, where you can see Shiva, the very cool-looking God of Destruction. He had six arms, carrying a rosary, trident, flaming torch, a relaxed gesture, a fearlessness gesture, and a kettle drum. I repeated it so many times, now I could recite it from memory. The Hindu temple architecture was a bit sick and I went through it quickly. After that was the section of the gallery on Buddhism, and we can see a Buddha under a bodhi tree that looked like a halo, actually, it was made to be like a halo. Then, I brought them up from the first floor to the third and there was a hands-on corner there in which I let them try how to write in Arabic.
I brought them to the China Gallery again and Muk and I sat at a corner and waited for them to complete their worksheets before handing them in. The first one who scores the highest wins a packet of Twisties and a V-point pen. Muk and I spent $8.80 on all the food as we bought a packet of Mamee for each of them, which cost $2 in total. The two pens cost $4 in total, which were probably the most expensive items.
We brought them to the entrance of ACM, and they did a feedback form before going. I forgot to say bye to them…boohoo, I so evil. The trip was very fun and I enjoyed guiding my group as they were very obedient and co-operative. I hope that I could come and lead them again, but soon, I’ll be leading a bunch of pre-schoolers to ACM. It will be even tougher to lead a bunch of noisy children, but the good thing is that I can satisfy them easily. I was from NYPS anyway, so I could communicate well with the pupils. I was telling the boys to join Hwa Chong Institution but a few said they wanted to go Raffles Institution. No… Today was a very good experience for me.

Never posted for quite long... Anyway, last week was completely fun and more fun! Sabbaticals rocks! Especially when you're in something you like, unlike some people who go for sabbaticals that can get ACE but they don't like. So, football ROCKS!!!
I played soccer for like one week... which is 15 hours. Go figure out how long we played each day. Heh.
I look like this now...
Yep... 100%
This is tanning, and tanning is fun, unless you overdo it like ^^^
I hope there will be English ACE for my reflections done in the sabbaticals...
I think that I had improve a lot during the training and this could be seen in yesterday's match, in which I scored two goals against 2L.
I'm not trying to hao lian or anything, because we lost to 2L 5-3 in the end. =_='''
And I hear you laugh.
It was the craziest and most humiliating match I ever played, and not just because 1M won them 3-1.
It's 'cuz I scored two and Ben scored two.
Yea, you heard it right.
He scored two, and the score was 5-3.
Us 3.
The problem is, he scored into our own goal.
There was a slight consolation though.
They also scored an own goal.
One crazy own goal.
Zachary flicked on the ball from the half-way line and the the 'keeper accidentally failed to catch it.
If that was dumber, ours was dumber and dumberer.
Ben was trying to block the ball but it hit his toe and went into our goal instead of the side, where he was aiming for the ball to go.
Then, Ben passed the ball back to the 'keeper and Shao Wee let it go through BETWEEN his legs.
Because Shao Wee was trying to do a split in front of the goal.
Or maybe he was trying to scare the opposition by looking big and spreading himself across the whole goal.
Three goals went in between his legs and one was over his hand and the last was a deflection by Ben.
This saying, "Fire in the hole" will be appropriate.
The absence of Yu Xuan was felt in the team. Actually, the anger of the team was palpable.
Yu Xuan did not bring his PE T-shirt. And didn't bother to buy it either. Or even borrowing it.
So, bluntly saying, we lost. Pathetic. Humiliating. Plain disaster.
At least my dribbling is starting to improve.
I'll never forget the memorable day when I dribbled past two defenders challenging me together, then another defender and followed by another before assisting a goal.
That was so cool, and lucky too.
Never will that happen to me again. Yu Xuan's pace is lightning, while his defending rocks.
I suck at everything, maybe other than tackling and passing.

I hate the goalposts.
They were so heavy for six people to carry, tha t had to ask another 4 more to come and help.
Then on the last day of sabbaticals, I had to bring them back again. Everyone was complaining.

Jia Han says that he's going on a diet. If he is, I'm going to eat Slim 10. I just won a graphic calculator! Maths Trail rocks! My group came in 1st. No doubt, with Peter and Wei Cher in my group. Tomorrow I'll get the prize! I'm sooooo excited. Today there were some more good news. The Mathematics paper was easy, and I got A1 again for History! Yay! I got A1 for Literature too! A double salvo!
I think I'm done. Well, I am.
Oh yeah, last words to my class. Please co-operate, for goodness sake. If not, embezzlling will be the last resort! Muahahahaha!

The Dark Forces... Darth Chairman! Yupps=)

Hi. Today is the make-up holiday for the country's election! My school rocks! It's so slack... Anyway, I am not supposed to speak about the country's politics, so...
Chiam See Tong and Low Thia Kang are the only opposition in the Parliament and half of my country is walkover by PAP. Haha, that includes my constituency.
Anyway, if you want the full and accurate election results, that means all the votes, invalid votes, percentage, etc. please email me.
This week rocks as Friday is Vesak Day, and Thursday is Combined Sports Meet with NYGH.
Oh, speaking about sports, my NAPFA was over a few weeks ago. Seriously, it is so unfair! I'm 13 years old while all my friends are 12, so their standard is lower!!! Shouldn't it be all Sec 1s same standard? We were all born in the same year still... Anyway, I'm seriously bad at sports. 4 Bs and 1 A only... Haix. THe only A is sit-ups, which is quite easy and many people, including Muk, got A.
Nooo...
My blog is gonna be checked soon, and it is so lousy... Boohoo...
Hope none of my words so far is considered as flaming=)

Anyway, I watched M.i.III last Saturday!!! Woohoo! It's so cool! It set a very fast tempo at the start when you see the baddie threathening to kill Ethan's wife. The stunts were also very cool and there was one very nice scene where he did a very impossible jump(top) from the bottom left tower to the other tower. He jumped southwest, and the rope holding on to him swung him to the other side. He needed to get an object called the Rabbit's Foot to save his wife as his wife was held hostage by the baddie mentioned above called Davian.
The chase continued in a suburban part of Shanghai, where you can see him running to the place where his wife was held hostage and he was shouting "Rang kai! Rang kai!", which means excuse me in Chinese, and my sister said that he was like shouting "Shanghai, Shanghai!"
All in all, this movie rocks, I especially like the part in the Vatican City, it was very funny and smart. But just like many films, there are many unrealistic parts as well.
It was suspenseful throughout the story and there were many twist and turns.

Lion Dance rocks! Today I got to run from Hwa Chong to the lane outside HCJC and all the way to Nanyang Kindergarten and go towards Jalan Haji Alias and go forward to the roundabout at Queen Astrid Park, go down Coronation Road West, into Holland Road, go towards Sixth Avenue, all the way down the long road, to the other side of Jalan Haji Alias, then to Namly Avenue, all the way in pass all of the Namly Grove, Road, Wadeva names, and to SIM lastly going into the Hwachong Boarding School. It;s about 5 to 7km and we spent like 1 hour running it...
Followed by some jumping over benches and everyone was falling and trippiing over the benches and only one Chinaman succeeded doing it PROPERLY.
The CMC came up with two plans to tackle the noise pollution problem in my class
Sorry, but it is totally CONFIDENTIAL!!!
Hahaha!

This rocks. Just found out that Joi Chua lives in my condominium in my block. Lol. My Dad saw her in her car going out of the condominium. Yesterday I did my Literature brochure but I think it sucks even though I spent like 3-4 hours doing it... Argh. Flunked my geography (as usual) and well, WaDeVa. Oh yeah, I have very little English ACE as well so I must buck up and do this blog well...
Today was the Malay test, and it was relatively easy except when I forgotten what # is and - in Malay. Other than those two, =).
Today's health checkup was okay, and it was good as I could SLACK=)!
Next week, I will only study for two days! Yay! Because Tuesday my school let us off for a day as replacement holiday for Election Day, while Thursday is Sports Meet with NYGH and Friday is Vesak Day. I can slack again!
Yesterday I had Maths Trail, and it was a bit lame as my team (Wei Cher, Peter, Yu See and I), was initially disqualified as we did not completely fill up our form. So we went down to the library to sort things out. Bill's team, (Lu Yang, Jia Han, Chong Jiat and him) thought they were disqualified too, when they were not, so only Bill went down with Wei Cher, Yu See and I, and he found out that his team was in.
Argh, it's getting boring. I'll go quicklty through.
Basically, Wei Cher, Yu See and I, replaced Bill's three teammates and Bill suddenly backed out and went for 3rd Language, and Peter came, so practically Bill's whole team was replaced by a disqualified team. LoL! =_='''
Anyway, we went through the Trail easily other than the Magic Square part. We even completed Sodoku easily, in less than 10 minutes!!!
That's about it, I just realised that I posted few days ago and this is the first time I posted two posts in a week for a few months already!
Anyway, bye, gotta do my mindmap for Daybreak

Hi! Finally I posted again. I'm gonna get slaughtered by all the hoomework. Anyway, I seriously envy the ProEd and Aphellion people. This week is their IT Week. They get to stay at home and SLACK!!!!!!!!!!!!
UNFAIR! And today I went to Mr Su to change my sabbaticals, and FINALLY managed to change it. Hope there will not be any more problems, because these few days I have been running up and down the staff room talking to both Mr Su and Mr Sim, the Aphellion assistant director. He's quite a friendly guy. =)
Today got back my biology test paper. I got an A1!!! Yippee! Same goes for my English comprehension! Double Happiness!!! Lol... That's for marriage (双喜).
Last Friday I was supposed to go for a RGS Campfire at, well, RGS(Duh). But it was raining so I didn't go. The next day I asked my friends in scouts, they said it was fun. Plus, one of my ex-schoolmates saw many other ex-schoolmates at RGS, from RI, ACS, NYGH, and RGS... Argh =_="' Anyway, I passed my knots test and my first aid practical for my Scouts... Yay!
Thursday is my Malay test... No!!! I think I'll flunk - Wish me luck!!!
Oh yeah, this song currently playing is "Where'd You Go" by Fort Minor and Holly Brook
It's for someone, if you think you're that person... Yea...
