Hi! I'm back from my camp. The camp was so fun, but we did not get to sleep in tents! =( Anyway, the camp took place in Chinese Gardens and HomeTeamNS (CDans) in Bukit Batok. We had to walk 5km with our 5kg bags all the way from Chinese Gardens to CDans!!! But, compared to NS, it is nothing... Nevertheless, it was tiring. I am tired now, so I can't think much. Slept for like 6 hours in two days. The food there was nice. The first meal was lunch at Chinese Gardens. Chicken wing and rice as well as some vegetables. The next day, the breakfast was Nasi Lemak! It was delicious! Our last meal in camp, which was breakfast today, was plain beehoon and a hotdog.
Ok, so on the 1st day, we travelled to CG. Then we settled down after some scolding. We thought of our group name (Falcon) and designed the banner. Also, we came up with cheers. At first, we wanted it to be Algernon(As in the rat in Flowers for Algernon), but after that Yu Xuan and I started chanting Chicken Wing, Chicken Wing and KFC, KFC. In the end, we settled for the name Falcon.
After lunch, it was our 1st team-building activity, Bridge Construction, to strengthen our Team Discipline. The bridge consists of three ropes, two ropes for the hands, and a rope for the legs. We should have taken 20 minutes to complete it, but due to the lack of Teamwork, discipline, communication, it took 2 hours. What the... Anyway, Yu Xuan was the leader for our group, while Kenneth was the other leader, they argued about how to do the job, firstly, looping the ropes, then tying the ropes together. We got stopped for 3 times because of lack of discipline, communication and teamwork... Then we had to start all over again. Evil instructors=P.
After that activity, we had a war game that trains our Team Co-ordination. We had to build catapults and two 'alters' which acts like our life points. Then, the 'alter' holders needed to cross from one end to the other end. Building took up one hour, and the holders for the 1st 'alter' was Yu Xuan, Li Ki, Peter, a 1M guy, Jerome, and I (I think). Our 'alter' was unfortunately destroyed but we could have won if not for some cheaters in our group and because they cheated, the opponent had 1 point added to their score, thus, we drew.
Haix, I can't be bothered already, I'm too tired. Tomorrow I'll continue with this long speech of mine...
